Is your service free?

Yes, the service is absolutely FREE for homeowners. We get paid by contractors, who pay monthly fees for participation in our network. The fees are their marketing expenses, just like paying for a newspaper ad or yellow pages listing. These fees will not affect the estimates.

What areas do we service?

We service the entire New York City area.

Why should I feel more confident about hiring contractors referred by Craftsmen Network?

Because our contractors are professionals, who have gone through the prescreening process. Usually they are in the business for many years and have many references from customers and other contractors. We have many experienced contractors for each trade. Their overall experience covers everything from small repairs to a custom home construction.

How many estimates shall I get?

It depends on your project. For small projects we usually match you with 1-2 contractors. For mid size and big home improvement projects you will receive 3-4 quotes.

What about my private information?

Your contact information will not be disclosed to anyone other than referred contractors. Contractors will use it solely to provide the best service possible.

This information may expire over time.  We strive to maintain accurate, up to date profiles, however we can not guarantee that the screening information is fully accurate. We recommend you to verify the contractors' information to make sure that it is acceptable to you.

Am I obligated to use professionals referred by Craftsmen Network?

No. It is your decision to hire them or not.

What if I have complaints about referred contractor?

We recognize that contractors who perform poorly do exist. That is why we have the Ratings & Reviews section where the homeowners leave ratings for and write reviews on contractors who have done work for them. After the matching process you will be able to see the Ratings and Reviews for each contractor, as well as the licensing and insurance information.
