However, they are heavy when compared to the ceramics sidings. This apart, the clay siding has to be fixed to the wall using cement only. Since the clay siding is heavy, glue cannot stick it to the wall. Besides, pasting clay cladding and replacing it as and when required is not an easy job. Also, it takes away much of the investment since the process is laborious.


The best siding that is being promoted these days consists of ceramics. The ceramics come in all shapes, sizes and colors. They have more than two dozen colors that can go well with the exterior walls of the house. Besides, the ceramics claddings are light in weight. In terms of weight, they are just a fraction of what the clay claddings are. Besides, architects get plenty of time to experiment with the ceramics wall siding. These apart, the ceramics siding can be easily removed and pasted. Further, it is not a laborious task and requires low investment when compared to wooden or clay cladding. It has also been found that the price of the ceramics cladding works out to be cheaper when compared to wooden and clay sidings.


These days, in New York City, the trend is to go in for theme base cladding. For instance, if you are somebody interested in wild life, the cladding depicting wildlife and animals are available. These are available in individual siding or a combination of siding to provide a new effect. Similarly, there are sidings that come with other themes.
